What will the Foundation Year and workshops involve?
The philosophy of the course will be underpinned by the belief that we learn best in a fully embodied, holistic way. Bodywork, demonstration pieces, personal and group process, use of creative media/dream-work will run alongside traditional teaching methods. We believe that it is important to balance structured inputs with sufficient flexibility to allow for emerging needs from the group. Active participation will be encouraged whilst respecting each individual’s flow between contact and withdrawal.
The Foundation Course consists of 11 weekend modules from 4 - 6th October 2019 to 10 -12th July 2020 – with the initial, closing and one other workshop including the preceding Friday.
The course will be led by the core team of Dave, Chris and Rod, with additional input from guest trainers to ensure balance and diversity during the year.
